Laia Guardiola's Biography


	Born in April 1st, 1980 in Barcelona. Architect by the ETSAB-UPC (Superior Architecture Technical School of Barcelona) since 2006. She has a Master's degree in Theory and Practice of the Architectural Project by the ETSAB-UPC since 2010. Since 2002, she works with David Benito Cortázar and they founded FFWD. In parallel with FFWD work, during last years she has developed a high number of efimeral architecture and design in collaboration with División Efímeros. Her experience includes a wide range of fields related with necessities of direct and corporative comunication for companies and institutions such as product presentations, award ceremonies, inaugurations, opened parties, exhibitions, fair stands, etc...


	She also combines professional activity with teaching. Nowadays, she is teacher at E.S.D.A. Llotja. Also she hs been teacher at Prototypes01 workshop and at DEIÀ Design School. Proffessionally she has worked with the following architects and architecture studios: -Padrós Valls Arquitectes (November 2006) Freelance collaboration for development of an urbanism executive project. -Carles Mas, Architect (August 2006) Freelance collaboration for development of an single house executive project. -División Efimeros: Pomés & Llamazares & Padró (November 2002 - March 2006) Studio specialized in interiorism and efimeral architecture (exhibitions, events, stands, etc.)


	Proffessionally she has worked with the following architects and architecture studios: -Josep Parcerissa, Architect (January 2004) Collaboration for the competition project Elemental 2002 in the city of Santiago de Chile (special mencion in the ArqCatMon award from the COAC) -Joan Manel Nicolàs Montsonís (September to November 2002) Building and rehabilitation projects, most of them related to sanitary architecture.
