The sports center placement in a new buildings area is faced with respect, and the wanth to not modify the existing topography. We pretend to generate a sequence of ludic and sportive spaces, that can be easily adapted to terrain, creating different activities enviroments. From that decision, the new building is one more activity in this sequence. It’s a covered place that allow to be used aware from rain and weather inclemeances.

The new building is placed respectuosly, following the alignments set by the new streets. Due to the topography, the whole building is placed semi-digged from the streets. In this position, building gets mimetized with landscape, and gives the whole importance to the public space. Building roof becomes the fifth facade, as well as it would be seen by all neighbours and people walking on the area.

That big roof is not only a roof. It becomes the distinctive element of the building, its characteristic image. It’s a little portion of sea that gets closer the village to its seaside reality, it’s a piece of sea clipped in the middle of the mountains. All four facades are made in polished steel sheets, that generate a vibrating and reflecting surface. Its skin, make the building to look like water, almost unmaterialized.
