Classrooms are the basic units that compose the school. They are the main element that organize the whole project. Building is understood as a small city for the children, where classrooms are houses and the complementary spaces are speciallized service buildings depending on its function (administrative, meetings, goods, dinning room, etc.).

The result is a polycentric building where uses are programmaticly organized, as in a functional diagram. There are not a lineal and categorized distribution for uses. They are placed freely all over the space depending on their necessities and functions. Each unit, each “building” is singular, each has its own properties in shape, orientation, colour, texture and material. All different between them but essencially the same.

Each classroom is organized as a small house. The main room is where the family life takes place. A circle shaped space that is divided in two different parts. An interior classroom, and the outer court. Classroom is a controlled space where the group meets toghether. The outer space acts as a filter and transition element to exterior.
