Project takes off from the idea of an architecture thought as a landscape, so that means as “not-a-building”. The architectural piece uses not only the shape but also the natural elements as formal tools.
With that convergence between nature and atifice, the Hotel looks for a full integration in the urban and natural enviroment of Castuera without resigning on regibility and representation that this kind of projects require.

Maximizing the reduction of the constructed volume over the line of Cerrillo Street, and the use of a oblique and fragmented geometry are responsible for the building autonomy from the closer edifications. The first operation, allows us to generate too many free surface as constructed surface, giving all constructed space as public space. The second operation, gives the building some formal autonomous character from streets, alineations and urban patterns on its area.
