River’s water moves following the fastest way to reach de sea, always down, always straight. Ramblas are the main pedestrian rivers of the cities. Their circulation is lineal, and contained in a defined space, appart from cars and sidewalks. It’s a directional space, with two attraction points in its ends which enphasize axiality.

The new tourist information point must be a new attraction point in the Ramblas, but without breaking circulation flows. At the same time, it must be enought strong to attract people attention. It must find the right balance between that point and also, to answer to the different situations that will happen at the new information point.

We planned the construction of a bàsic storage unit, which can duplicate its volume to gain the necessary space to develop its activities. It’s a changing element, which can have different relation ways with its enviroment. The glass U shape slides from the main body and generates inside a public attention protected zone.
