The project starts with the purchase of a parcel that allowed its partition for the generation of two paired houses. The two owners had similar needs and this resulted in alike functional programs, but adapted to the particular requirements of each of them. The result are two similar but not identical houses.
The volume of the two houses is fragmented to avoid massive shapes. Controlled spaces are generated around the building and this allow to enjoy the house seamlessly between indoors and outdoors while having the feeling of coating from the building.
While the private area of the program is found on the first floor, on the ground floor an open concept layout sets up the public housing program. From this level the spectacular views that the plot has over the valley of the Llobregat can be enjoyed, always with the city of Barcelona its background.
